A thread may have been made on this but I have seen a quite a lot of island selling going on. Island selling is now legal. But before you sell you will need to have the island inspected by a mod. There should be no more than 3 sand, one bucket and 73 Dirt on the island (starter items) and no other illegal to trade items on the island. To transfer an island simply /coop invite the person who bought it and then you can coop leave. Remember that /coop is prone to bugs to if when you invite someone and the person gets an error joining consider staying on the island a couple of days in case they get kicked out randomly (has happened to me before). As for pricing consider the materials the island is made up of, the style, the biome and any significant farms and structures. Certain biomes are worth more because they look better visually and other biomes are worth more because of farms that can be made. Biome Costs | Skyblock Forums Remember that island trade is a risky investment due to scamming that could potentially occur. Make sure to always take screenshots or record a video of: The trade agreement You having the items in your inventory You dropping the items and them on the ground Your inventory after the trade and possibly them with the item in their hand Make sure to do /near to make sure there are no invisible people where you trade. Chest trade where possible. Trade safe~
Btw is it legal if a player trades his island that has, for example, some hills made out of grass to another player?
Not necessarily. You have to remove the grass off it and take it with you if you are selling an already made island like that or make the design a "bring your own dirt/grass" design. Eg make hills with cobble then people can cover them in dirt/grass.
Yep I see like ten people a day selling their islands. Not to say that they dont get them checked but its a lesser known rule. When I sold my big terraformed island I removed all the grass. Not only now do I have that dirt to use again but I wont get banned if a mod decides to check logs in the future.
Sells a huge beautiful terraformed Island with mountains and stuff for 100 Diamonds Removes the grass, buyer gets a floating bedrock
Who wants to invest 50 diamonds into getting a certain island, then having to invest another 25 to get enough grass to replace the entire thing my hand?
Not entirely. He should have left behind the starter dirt. Grass spreads. Cyp once said selling islands for profit was not permitted at one point so the point is not to profit too much. Say if someone had a nice island and we couldn't log if they placed grass or not because it's to old, it isn't fair to them if we let others sell their islands with grass. We have to keep the rule consistant. It isn't dumb, it's logical reason why islands with dirt/grass cannot be sold.
Blaq asked Cyp a while ago and Cyp agreed to make it legal again so long as we check the islands for the illegal to trade stuff.
