Preface​

I have played on Skyblock for about four years and I have been playing very frequently the last few weeks. I know the rules and am responsible when I actually have something important to do. I can remain focused on a task when I know that we will benefit from it. I know I was not the most active Moderator in the past. At the time I felt I wasn't actually needed. I was also not active on the server for a while due to personal reasons, up until recently. But now that I am back and much more active, I feel I could take a big role as a staff member. I actually feel like I would be helping and making a difference.

Leadership​

What I love doing and what I've always done was helping kids and people who need to be pointed in the proper direction. I am a Boy Scout, and that is a big reason I became a Boy Scout. It helps show leadership, something that all staff should show. As a Boy Scout, I point kids in the right direction, so that when they grow up, they make the right choices. Growing as a Boy Scout, I have acquired extensive people skills. I know how to communicate effectively and fluently. Because I have experience with leadership skills and people skills, I feel as though I am ready to take on a big task of moderating the server. Optimism​

Having optimism, even if the outcome seems unrealistic, can go a long way. I am a very optimistic person. Whenever someone gives me a suggestion for a new build, I am always excited to hear what they have to say. I am also always willing to help them with whatever they are doing. When ever I have a new idea for something, I am always optimistic about the outcome, even if the chances are slim. I am usually always open to suggestions about anything. I feel my optimism would be a great addition to the server. "Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence." ~Helen Keller.

Inspiration​

When you take all of the good qualities of a leader, you get someone who communicates clearly, concisely, and often, and by doing so motivates everyone to give his or her best all the time. They challenge their followers by setting high but attainable standards and expectations, and then giving them the support and tools to pursue those goals. As a moderator, I would be active in the community to help inspire people to do better. I would help make sure that their goals are realized, and that they are attainable. A moderator's duties are not only limited to banning and kicking people. They also have a duty to ensure the overall well-being of the community is in check. As a moderator, I would be sure to do those things, just as any good leader should. "Keep your face always toward the sunshine, and shadows will fall behind you." ~Walt Whitman.

How long can you be active on the server everyday? I can try to be on for an hour or two a day. If I am needed as soon as possible I will try my best to get right on.

How long have you been playing Skyblock? Since 2012. It was the second server I ever went on.

Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) A tempban for fly-glitching, nothing too serious.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Experience is often perceived as the number one factor when judging whether or not someone is fit for a position. I feel my experience as a moderator is very illustrious. I was a moderator on Skyblock.net, the old Hellblock server, a skyblock islands server, and TrueMU's (MinecraftUniverse) server (which is now unfortunately defunct). I have also been a Moderator on a few smaller servers and I owned my own server for some time. I will say that TrueMU's server in it's prime had at least 1,000 kids on it at any given time. This shows that I am able to handle such a large group of people at any given time.

Do you meet the requirements for staff? Of course!

-Use less color (makes you look immature).

-I feel like you are missing some of the topics in the template, maybe it's because it's the new template.

-You need a 50-post count on the forums

-I don't see you that active in game, we have same time zones, maybe you are on a different time though.

-If a player is in need of help and they only talk Spanish and no English, can you have a full conversation with them or only say a few basic words.

-You do have some past experience as moderator, and you know some server commands and what/how to use LogBlock.

I've been on this forum since November of 2012, I most likely have hit the 50 post count by now (the forums have been reset a couple of times, some of my older posts have been deleted). Con respecto a mi habilidad con español, yo pienso que hablo esta lengua muy fluente .
