Moments ago I was banned by "Finical" for supposedly advertising a server. I've been playing on this server for the past three days and I've noticed the lack of server spawn architecture. I simply suggested to Finical that he could check out a server (which will reman nameless) to see my builds on it so that I might be able to help you guys out with a cool design for the new spawn. The only reason I brought it up with Finical is because Lemonade was unavailable (He was OK with viewing my designs on the other server, which I might also add only has about 4 people on average a day). I realized that I "broke" the rule by typing out another I.P. but I don't see the harm in it so for those reasons I believe that I should be unbanned. Yes I read the rules.

I was banned because I /msg'ed Mod about another server.

I think it was a little over the top, because I'm just here to help the server out, and I got banned because I used a slight detail to show off my builds to further benefit the server spawn and trade shop. I can understand a ban if I was showing a fellow player but when I'm chatting privately with a trail moderator I think that it is a bit out of hand. Especially sense Lemonade was OK with chatting about the other server with me.

I've never been banned from this server or any other server before.

I think I should be unbanned because Finical could have handled the situation better or nicely told me not to talk about other servers to people (including staff). If he would have just listened to my whole story this whole mess wouldn't have happened or at the least replied with a warning. It's just way overplayed for a minecraft server, It's just a game I'm here to have fun and help others out not bicker about stupid childish things.

Moderators are no different to Players, messaging someone a server IP Address without them giving permission and/or telling them that it is okay to message them the IP is against the rules.

 

Alright, nice to know now. My bad for doing so. I just think it's a little above the top, but if that's the rule than i will follow it if I get unbanned.
