I'm thinking of changing my igm to something else, if we change it would we lose our island or rank's or echest ?
And do we lose our stuff in other servers ?

So it is important when changing your IGN that you remove all the Lockettes and TradeShop signage on your
island that is under your current name, if you don't, you won't be able to access the chests. You won't experience
an island restart, nor will you be denied access to your island if you change your IGN. After you change it, be sure
to lock your Chests and recreate your TradeShops under the new username. You won't lose ranks either.

 

You won't loose your stuff. But as said above, you should probably get rid of all lockettes and tradeshops, as those will still be marked with your old username and you won't be able to access them if you change it.
