I find it to be helpful when you're trying to help and only point out things like illegal trade, answering questions, etc. I find it to be annoying when you repeat yourself thirty times about capitals, swearing or spam. But that's just my two cents.
Bunch of fake messagers on today and was trying to get them to stop. Its funny because they dont even listen to mods and give a lot of hate for non-mods who try to get them to stop.
Mini modding is very useful when there aren't any mods on, but as we all know people get irritated by it even when a mod isn't present. Mini modding won't ever be illegal as it keeps the mods from being pulled onto the server 24/7.
I think mini modding is quite useful for the mods so that they don't become overwhelmed with a bunch of illegal trade reports or questions, ect. ect. I think it's better to do mini modding in pm though instead of doing it all in chat because then that creates a bunch of spam. Let's say there's maybe, 10, mini modders online at once, it would become chaotic. Overall I think that if you do it in pm then you're being helpful, and if you're doing it in chat you may just be trying to get attention and are making the situation worse than it was to begin with. The only time I'd really think to bend that is if someone was in a rush or had to go so they said it in chat.
