If my name rings a bell, I was a Hellblock super moderator until it moved to Mineverse.

Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) I do have the necessary means of capturing evidence (gyazo, minecraft screenshots, and built in mac screen capture + screen recorder). I am also capable of properly logging bans and keeping an organized, up to date ban log that can easily be referenced at a later date.

Why do you think you should become a moderator?
There are multiple reasons that I think I should become a moderator. First, I have experience moderating Hellblock, a previous skyblock Noobcrew server with similar logistics, so I know what is expected of moderators both in games and on the forums. From this experience, I also know how to handle ban appeals, reports, and most issues that arise in-game. (Between Hellblock moving to Mineverse and now, I have thoroughly reflected on my time as moderator and know how I could handle certain situations better next time.) I think this extent of experience on the skyblock staff team is invaluable and will greatly benefit Net.

Another reason I think I should become a moderator is that I took and will take my moderating job seriously. While I was a Hellblock moderator, I was known for being strict and focused on my job. I was always willing to help anyone in need; however, I was not overly friendly with players. While you could dwell on the downsides of this, I think that abstaining from major associations with players kept me free from any sort of bias that could interfere with my moderating. I think that this particular characteristic would make me an excellent Net moderator. I know that Net has a significantly larger playerbase than Hellblock, so focusing on moderating rather than conversing with players is important in that it will allow me to be a more effective moderator and help more players in need. I think that my preferred moderation style (as described above) makes me a compelling addition to the Net staff team.

A third reason I think I should become moderator (that I feel is worth mentioning in-depth) is that I am very efficient with my duties as a moderator. I understand that players do not like to be kept waiting for a reply to a ban appeal (particularly for incorrect bans since players rightfully banned should have to be patient) and that certain types of reports, such as someone advertising in-game, are time sensitive. While I do my best to reply to issues requiring my attention in a timely manner, I do not do so at the cost of making a reasonable decision. If there is a situation that calls for further investigation or thought, I do not hesitate to take the necessary time to come to the most rational decision. I am also open to second opinions and/or input from others. I think that my ability to handle ban appeals and reports in a timely yet rational manner (as demonstrated during my time as a Hellblock moderator) will allow me to prevent players from getting frustrated with any issues they encounter both in-game and on the forums.

There are many other reasons why I think I should become a Net moderator. In addition to the three main reasons described above, I think I should become a moderator because I am responsible + organized (briefly mentioned in context of saving evidence), dedicated, helpful (when in-game, I answer questions in chat, but maintain a balance between being helpful and allowing online staff to deal with situations that would best be handled by a moderator), and active, which I expect to be controversial and have listed last for a reason. I know that I took a long break from skyblock when Hellblock moved to Mineverse, but I am back now and extremely active in-game.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?
Over the summer, I am able to be active 8+ hours everyday. The hours I am able to be in-game are also very flexible, so even though I am in the Pacific timezone, I can be in-game during hours when there is a general lack of moderators and when the server is simply busy and needs more moderators online.

Once school begins again, my hours will likely be reduced to 4 on weekdays, and I will be able to be in-game during the late afternoon, evenings, or night (still flexible depending on when a moderator is needed).

How long have you been playing Skyblock?
I joined the server back in 2013; however, I took an extended break from skyblock for the majority of 2015. This break was a result of Hellblock being moved to Mineverse and not having forum permissions to sufficiently moderate the Hellblock there, but I am back now and have no intentions of taking a break in the near future. I would estimate that I have been playing skyblock for 2 years subtracting the extended break time.

Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game)
I have never been banned from the forums or in-game.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes, and I have past experience as not only a moderator but as a part of this staff team when I was a Hellblock trial and eventually super moderator. I know that there have been changes made since I was a Hellblock moderator. I am ready to adjust and relearn, but I learned a lot during and reflecting on my time as a Hellblock moderator, which I believe makes me a compelling addition to the current staff team.

Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes, both the ones listed in the requirements thread and the unstated.

I know that I brought up my experience as a Hellblock super moderator throughout this application. I would like to state here that I don’t expect that to get me Net moderator; however, I think that the experience is a key part of why I am a compelling addition to the current staff team and one of the main things I can bring to the server.
