Although it's unlikely, I support. I doubt they will ever trust anyone with their buycraft, or console access. But, another person with "op" in game and stuff— yeah, that'd be convienent.

Technically crew and Cyp would receive less money since the third admin would probably want to get some kinda payment. That could be why he doesn't want a third one even though it would help out the server a lot imo.

Well, I think we all need to learn the difference between Admin and Owner. Cyp and Crew are Owners. The new guy, would be an Admin, which is below Owner. Right?

I know this thread is a bit old now, but I still feel I should chime in.

First off, thank you to the people who suggested I come back as an admin. Before I get into everything I have to say, I would like to say I am absolutely up for it, if given the opportunity. While I am not always here with my face on, so to speak, I do actually play on the server under a different account name quite often. (The special people know what account that is ;> )

My time here as an admin was an absolutely awesome experience. I loved what I was doing, I loved the people I did it for and the ones I did it with. Working with Cypriot and Crew to help better the server was a great learning experience, and it actually helped me get certain leadership skills I now put to use in my personal life. (I just got a promotion to Supervisor at work!) The rest of the team was obviously a huge help, so I do thank the other admins, Luke and Creekz.

I've seen a lot of people claiming Noobcrew no longer cares about the server, or has moved onto other things, but I wanted to go ahead and lay that to rest. While he may not have the best public face to the server, he is one of the hardest working people I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with. There is so much going on day-to-day behind the scenes that is just impossible to quantify without you seeing it firsthand. The server has only grown since I left, so I know the work has become exponentially hard for him, leaving less time to interact with you guys.

However unfortunately, this leads me into why I don't think there is much hope for a new (or returning) admin. Noobcrew is a very protective person, almost to a fault. He built this server from the ground up, with the help of a few friends, and it is extremely hard to hand parts of something like this over to other people and letting them control it. This creates a glass dome around the server. The server will continue to grow over time, pushing on these glass walls. As you are well aware, glass is not impenetrable. One day, the server will grow large enough to shatter the glass, and the server fall to nothing. I'm sure many of you can see the glass cracking around you already. The cracking can be repaired, and Cypriot and Crew do a very good job at doing such. However, the glass is cracking much quicker than they can mend it, and there isn't much that can be done without an extra set of hands around.

To answer the question on pay, no, the admins were not paid. Even if offered, I would have refused. As mentioned before, as soon as you start getting paid to do it, it becomes a job, and eventually sucks the fun out of the experience. I volunteered almost 2 years of my life to this server as a Moderator and Admin, the friendships I gained are enough pay for me.

Just to add, I was re-reading some of the comments. The notion that Crew is "selfish" for not appointing a third admin is utterly ridiculous. A lot happened when I stepped down, and I admit it was a bit dramatic. Unfortunately the drama caused Crew to become wary of adding more admins, rightfully so. There is a tremendous amount of stress involved in that position, and not a lot of people would be able to handle it. It takes time, patience, understanding, commitment, and heart, not everyone has the right balance for it.

Noobcrew, to you specifically I say, if you ever need help or find yourself considering bringing on a third admin once again, you have my Skype info, you know where to find me. I'm 100% up to it, if you are.
