So Mods treated this "OK" to be said in chat? As i keep seeing a lot on chat.

If this is ok to be said on chat? then I am able to take advantage of this and let this just be a thing?

I keep getting people messaging me asking what does these mean. Personally I will just ignored them as all these abbreviations contains a swear word
    • OMFG
    • WTF
    • STFU
    • GTFO
    • OMFGFGI
    • OMFIG
    • OMFGYB
    • OMFGYKWNVM
    • FFS
    • And so on

If they dont know the swear word they wont understand- also a reason people shouldnt get kicked for ***'ing parts of curse words rather than having pwn filter turn it into :} or 0=.

Maybe rather then being rude and giving a negative rating you could explain your point of view.

There is a disagree rating for a reason instead of using dislike ;p

Acronyms are fine, since most people don't know what they mean + it doesn't fully contain the word. Also, if you see this is a place where mods are failing for kicking for things that have "remnants" of language, I got kicked for saying shiz so you don't need to worry about that one.

When it comes to language we kick for:
    Bypassing the filter
Saying a swear that is not censored but is offensive language
    Sexual language
    Excessive swearing (even if censored)
Swearing (even if filtered) in some contexts
Changing letters in a swear word to try and bypass the filter or make it less swear (fights example, using Shiz, or fk)

Acronyms don't count because the swear is reduced to one letter. If I was to say "f" in chat if something bad happens, no one would think anything of it, kids wont understand etc.
However certain Acronyms with swears may be kickable, not because they contain the word, because it is deemed offensive and disrespectful in some contexts.

Then why did you rate the post dislike instead of disagree... And also maybe give some reasons why you disagree...

I do disagree with this sort of as there are not any actually swear words stated and younger kids will not be able to repeat the actual words, they will just see random letters.

But anyways though, I find that it is the younger kids that end up swearing more anyways, so sometimes I wonder why it is a G-rated server... Just my opinion

So, this is my opinion. This might or might not happen, but what if someone says for example, "OMFG" or "LMFAO" and their parents comes on to see that? Will they know what it means? Will they not know what it means?

If you watch old g-rated movies or TV shows there are actually a lot of non-g-rated references that you wouldn't see when you first watched them because you were not old enough to understand them. Same goes for Skyblock. As long as it's not explicit or directed at someone in a malicious way we don't kick for it. As such abbreviations and single censored words are not kickable.

Just out of genuine curiosity, why is there an exception for 'kys' when it has no foul language in it?

are you saying that in g-rated movies they put WTF but it's fine cuz the 3-year olds* who watch g-rated movies won't understand it? if a 3 year old heard f*ck he wouldn't know what it means either way.

    * i do not mean to offend you if ur not 3 and still watch g-rated movies.

This should be self-explanatory. Even if said jokingly, it's still extremely rude and disrespectful. You don't wish death unto others.

Edit: I meant to say that I agree with you. Brain didn't process my sentence. It's way too early and I haven't had my coffee yet ^^
