As far as I'm aware, no one has ever been paid

opinion- an active admin is NECESSARY, for skyblocks survival in the future years.

generally, what i want to see is- commands fixed or added, warps updated, warps added, you know, stuff like that. also dunno what it takes for the server to handle the lag and stuff... but that needs to be addressed.
if that gets addressed, great opportunity to add minigames like in days past and breathe some life back in.

Talking about if they were paid or not, I'm fairly certain SLG wasn't paid, so I doubt it. The people mentioned in this thread as people members of skyblock would want to see as an admin, don't receive pay now and I'm sure they'd be fine without pay.
This being said, if they were paid, it would create a better trust between Crew and said admin. The admin would be less likely to abuse their power if they knew they had a pay check coming in

 

People who get paid tend to bore quicker than usual because it becomes a job and not something you do for fun.

I guess it really depends on the person.

Sure it becomes boring and more of a job, but otherwise not everyone can focus on it because they'd have a different job.

No income = less time dedicated to it.
