Guys, please watch out. Its just a warning, take it, or don't take this warning, i don't care, just be careful out there. A few days ago, someone sent me a picture and that was supposed to be them. Except, it wasn't. She told me that she liked me. To me, she seemed really pretty, really nice, etc. so... yeah. Anyways, to make things short, that wasn't her, she took a picture from the internet and gave me that picture. Anyways, I fell for it. It hurt me a lot, I don't want it to happen to you guys too. So heres how you can prevent it. (If a mod wants to move this to off-topic, Im fine with it. I met her on skyblock so... i don't know if its off-topic or not) 1) Save the image 2)Go to this website TinEye Reverse Image Search 3) Upload the image here 4) If there are matching images, then that person is obviously not him/her. Don't get fooled. I really can't believe I fell for this though ._.
Google images has a service too. And it is not just on minecraft. Internet safety lessons back in early 2000's Don't trust people over the internet unless you are sure they are who they say they are. And even then you can't always be sure.
Some people use the Internet like this to pretty much rebuild their lives but on a pixelated screen to make them feel better irl, you shouldn't trust this unless you had visual proof.
visual proof generally would be live video to get the most out of it. Refusal often is a bad sign these days.

It's extremely easy to fake an identity. Like others said, don't trust people that you don't know on the Internet. Otherwise, this happens.
It's incredibly easy to catch catfishes. One of my favourite youtubers, GradeAUnderA made a video on how to catch them. I've got to warn ya though he uses some vile language:
They need a sex offender scan for minecraft usernames. Scans the username and who its registerd with and if that persons a pedo it warns the little childs.
