i think there should be a legal way to get sand because i'm making a large farm but what from i know i cant find a way to get sand legally. plz add in sand trade or tell me how to get sand. ( i know donors get it in a kit but i'm not gonna donate till next fall) EDIT: i know you can convert red sand to normal sand but i cant find where to find red sand or how to convert it. i also have heard that red sand is expensive. EDIT: i'm not asking for it to be legal really because then people would island farm to sell sand. I'm asking that we should be able to BUY it for like 3 grass a block.
I think sand should be legal. If people island farm it, it'd be a waste of time because of the mass amounts that already exists so the price would be cheap. Sand isn't gonna change the economy at all, so why wouldn't it be legal?
TeamTyler why would it lead to more island farming? it would actually make it so less people island farm because they don't need anything from the starter island. Or do you mean that sense its legal more people would island farm it to sell the sand?
Sand trade is currently illegal. It prevents island farming. Island farming is when a player abuses the ability to create new islands. They create a new island then take the supplies/items from the newly created island and places it on another island. They repeat this continuously. If sand trade becomes legal, a lot of people will be island farming. I do believe that this is an issue for you, but there is other ways to obtain sand. Firstly if you buy a rank on this server, you could possibly obtain sand in your kit. So if you would like to get sand easily you could choose this way. The second way is to buy red sand. Once you have bought the red sand you can then create normal sand with a sand convertor. Some players may do this for free you just have to find them. I hope I have helped and good luck.
Many people sell it just look around, if you want just private message me anytime and I will gladly assist you by going to /warp donor and buying the red sand for you.
