Okay so for the past like week my iPhone 6 hasn't been charging properly. It takes like five hours to get all the way to 100% and if it is all the way dead it takes like 30 mins just to cut on then its only on 5% I need to know what to do. Whether or not I can just buy a new battery or buy a whole new phone. Please help me I figured I would ask y'all cause we play games and have computers and I feel like someone would know. Anyways thanks in advance. [Edit]: I bought this phone on December 26th 2015 so it hasn't been that long.
Well 1. Why is this in discussion 2. The lithium ion batteries Apple uses are literally known to fail after constant use for like a year - year and a half
Could be the charger, if not the battery. All the chargers I've had did this or something like it at one point.
Yes, turning to the iPhone check these: > Originial Charger > No Breaks or harm I would suggest buying a new one, the one you use might be fake if it isn't the original.
That's the reason, your charger doesn't charge with the needed power for your phone so it takes longer until it's completely charged up. I suggest you order a new original one or use one with the same power which an iPhone charger supplies.
Actually, as someone who breaks every charger and apple headphones he gets, I've never had issues with store bought chargers. It's probably your battery. You probably dropped it and something got screwed up
I would say it's your battery. I myself have a 2015 iPhone 6 and dont have the issue. I would get help from Apple peeps.
