Last night when I asked for help, 99% of the people offering help were non-donors. They were a BIG help.
They're humans too. They have feelings.

Yea greenies are usually helpful but whether they are consistently trust worthy...
I have trust issues with non-donors because theres no money tying them to the server- nothing to lose.

Varies from person to person. While non-donors can be helpful(Tyler), on the other hand it is true that there is nothing tying them to the server.

In any case, we have to respect every player no matter the origin.

I must admit this bothered me as well when I started on this server. Threads about equality between donors and non-donors plop up every few weeks. There you must Keep in mind equality is not always a glorious Goal to achieve

I must say, few months later, that I don't feel overly ignored in Chat. My buisness is running quite good and I even have donor friends while other donors helped punctually with godding my tools.

The "greenbean" title is the only Thing still bugging me but it is rarely used and anyway there's nothing to do about it. So I just ignore it. One glance at my Island will tell anyone that I'm not a noob and I'm proud of having built all this without /fly and having earned every single grass with trades or votes.

I could buy donor 400 if I wanted to but I know it would spoil my gameplay. I would get bored yet continue to Play only because of the Money I spent. Worst waste of Money ever if you ask me. I'll upgrade maybe once if I get a coupon code by voting, or if I get rich enough to buy it with ingame currencies, as I would then have earned it with my gameplay.

I'm proud of being a "greenbean" and I have profound disrespect for anyone who disrespects that. Yet I rarely encounter this Kind of People.

I was Greenie for a loooong time and Im donor since like 2 months(?). The thing I most hated and still hate was that some people in chat are like: Looking for a Donor to sign my wall. For example. And I would ask them why only donor and they would say: Because Greenies grief. It's not like it that Donors dont grief but okk. And another example: Selling diamonds but only to donors because Greenies scam.
I find it very stupid that Greenies have the "noob, scammer, griefer, young" sticker on their head. And to say that Greenies are always "like 8 or something" is dumb too because I mean 2 months ago I was 14 and after I got Donor I still was 14. (Now Im 15 btw I had birthday :) Dont get conf000sed) So yeah idk

Sure. Greenies need respect maybe. But if you're a donor, who talks to donors, since all your friends are donors, isn't it a bit hard to notice greenies? The greenie name tags are almost twice as small as the donor ones.

Plus after all, Cypriot needs to earn money to keep this server running, so be fair. If donors get more respect, so be it. If you think that everyone should be equal, or have justice, Cypriot isn't going to earn any money at all. That's why I hate these threads.

Ok what the heck is this thread. You speak of segregation on this
server as if it were as large as the civil rights movement. This is a server with an average of like 100 people on at a time folks. When you play a game with a bunch of 8 year olds, this problem comes up all over the place. I'd say 90% of these donors have a rank because they asked their mom or relative to get it for them, so I'm not sure if this is exactly a question of money.

No matter what server you go on, kids always rank themselves according to status, and that's just how the cookie crumbles. I've dealt with it and I could really give a rat's butt about it.

If you can't handle the heat, get out of the heat.

Listen, I understand the message of this post and I see what you mean, but really there is no way to stop it and we must just accept the fact that people are stupid and care too much about social status. Can't change society.

Skyblock is based around the pay to win sort of gameplay you see in a lot of games now but it's not as obvious, you don't need to upgrade to win, however, if you want to get anywhere it's extremely difficult to when you're a greenie. I don't get where this hate for greenies come from, I've seen and banned just as many griefers, scammers etc that are donors.

People just need to pull their heads out of their a**es and realise donor is just a title and doesn't mean s***.

At least 50% of the people who have broken a rule to harm/scam me were donors.

ISuika, this is to you, I am looking at TeamTyler's response here.
What of Skygods?! How many Skygods have you banned for griefing because I know 2 that have griefed and no one listens to us greenies about it!

I can name so many Mods, Donors, and even Skygod's that help us "Greenies". And none of them have ever Griefed, Scammed, or Looted anything that I had owned. And this was before the /trust plug-in was even a thing!!

I've never seen any discrimination of greenies within the past few months, personally.
