Bedrock is at height y=200 which leaves only 56 blocks to build up from your bedrock spawn. This makes it very difficult for islands that have tall buildings or structures and usually results in having some ugly flying cube that a visitor spawns in/on.

    Potential Fixes
    • Implement a command that allows the island owner to change the height of the bedrock (eg. /spawnblock 1 - 256)
    • Allow Moderators (unsure of what level) to move bedrock manually when requested
    • Have the default bedrock height lower than y=200 (eg. 100)

I kinda wish the bedrock was at void level and you could just add blocks to ''set'' the spawn point higher, I don't think it should be the player moving the bedrock around though, they'd have to add another plugin and etc.

I think in some cases being able to move the bedrock would be a useful thing for mods to do. But at the same time that would probably involve another plugin because you need creative to break it and mods will not gain that.

make an elevator or ladder of some sort...
or put your shop at a normal level.. :p

otherwise cyp in pm's MIGHT move it.

its not possible for us because... its BEDROCK. its also your spawnpoint.
islands used to and still are griefed, imagine if they broke your bedrock.

as far as smods go... thatd be nice.

Hm. I think it should be so you can just change a spawnpoint on a full block, if you could move bedrock, I think the island borders could become confusing.

edit: didn't read it correctly. Support now.

Breaking the bedrock doesn't screw anything up. My friends used to do it for me.

ill edit... if this were to work...

make it a command that only the coop owner can use. /bedrock move X spaces
    or something like that

removed the other idea... bedrocks illegal/donor400 item (maybe not anymore)
freely breaking it would be a problem

To be honest, SMods used to have creative back in the old days when the staff team had trust as one of it's most notable qualities. That may happen again, should the staff team become nearly perfect as they were back then sometime in the future.
But anyhow, support. Probably something like /spawnblock <0 - 256>
I don't know though. Just moi ideas.

Cyp should read this and he should consider it. Also he should consider adding toilet paper to Skyblock...

Creative is not needed to move bedrocks I'm pretty sure there's a plugin that can be modified/coded to have a command to change the position of the bedrock (like worldedit does). I don't think it's that necessary though, anyone can manage and build their islands like they want to if they put enough work into it. Plus this is another reason how people are encouraged into buying /fly, so I disagree with implementing the change to all ranks. However, changing the bedrock's position can be added to donor classes which already have /fly when they pay for their rank. Maybe they can have access to the command for changing the bedrock's position or have a staff member do it for them.
I just can't see cyp putting in the hassle for an idea like this, but a lot have been asking about bedrocks and all so who knows. If y'all riot you can get it.

Would be easy enough to code, honestly. You don't essentially need creative to break bedrock.
