GeoSkye, I was about to post a thread regarding this topic. Thank you for telling all of the people in the community of this horrid tragedy. I haven't known about this since today. During the news in my country I have seen what is happening. This is truly something I do not wish for anyone else. Many people have lost everything they had. You know what's the sad part? Most of the people weren't in life danger, and had the chance to take at least some items they owned & valued. Computers, valuables, credit cards, money. However the policemen & rescuers told them to evacuate immediately. They could've taken at least something small they valued. People lost everything, whatever they valued is gone, and most importantly a roof to sleep under. Imagine that you would just have to leave your house without taking anything. Leaving everything behind. How would it make you feel?I personally am a Christian & will pray for each & every soul to be safe & hope that justice will be served to those who started the fire(if a human started it off) Stay safe everyone. ~Tom
TO ALL YOU KINKY KANADIANS OUT THERE I BELIEVE YOU HAVE NO WHERE TO GO THAT IS ACTUALLY SAFE! YOU CAN SWIM TO AUSTRALIA BUT LIKE DUDES TRUMP IN USA COME HERE ILY <# C: Kinky
Global warming yet somehow a lot of people still think it "doesn't exist." Record numbers of wildfires in the last few decades and conditions are getting worse.
I only have kinky bacon Is your teacher going to Alberta? you do know Canada is huge and only a small part is on fire....
I'm so sorry to hear this, people living in Canada I'm thinking of you all and you're all very brave. Stay Safe
UPDATE: The fire is now as considered unfightable without rain, and has reached over 210,000 acres. The fire is now creating it's own weather, including lightening. The weather for the area in the next week is warm and dry, with no rain in sight. Places where people have evacuated TO, are also now being evacuated as the fire gets closer to these areas as well. In brighter news. - WestJet is allowing fleeing people to bring all their pets onto flights, no matter the size of animal, type, or if they have a carrier for them. - Labatt beer company has shut down production to produce water to send to the camps.
cheesycarson I keep following it cause my dads in northern Alberta right now, I also have many friends from there since I just moved back east from Alberta 2 months ago. My brother actually just applied as a volunteer to go help rebuild. ;3
