Once an addiction to duolingo has stared, it is most hard to break.
You must run up mount Kilimanjaro and then do a sacrificial ritual where you burn a picture of the duolingo owl

I wish I was this motivated to actually learn a language.

 

Started learning Spanish today; already 2% fluent. Doing the hardest plan and you should do it too!

 

I did Spanish for a while and in 3 days I was 17% fluent

Duolingo fluency percentage isn't actually accurate to test your fluency for a language. It measures how fluent you are in the course that Duolingo has. I think I read somewhere Duolingo courses have around 1k-2k words whilst a native speaker will use more than that just in a single day. Duolingo is designed to get you through the basics and most commonly used words, so in a sense, you wouldn't do too bad in a day where your language is spoken.

I am actually trying to improve my manga while I am away from SB, too.
