I'll stand by what I say.
The best mods are the worst players.

Think I'm wrong? Funny. You wanna know why? The bad players see the holes in the server. They know how to use and abuse the glitches in the servers. They're always on the look out for new ways to take over. They know the rules and follow them enough to not get banned. They know the punishments so they don't get banned.

The ones who deserve mod? They're too focused on looking good. They don't see the way the wrong players do.

But no one listens to me on who the good and bad mods will be ;P

I think I'm like 90% right on my guesses over the years.

It's really not up to us to decide who gets to be promoted..

 

It's why I've quit this server two times and I won't be coming back - it's an unorganized mess of staff that aren't ready to do their job right, and the rules are just about as mediocre as some of them.

Okay then...

 

I hate to say it. But mods, as a whole, few exceptions, are too ignorant to accept the flaws and try to change. We'll never be listened to because our opinions don't matter.

Ok, let me tell you something most people don't see; Human Error. No one's perfect, yet not much see that. Just remember that Cyp chose these people for a reason and he has faith in them. Mods try their best to make this community a great one and wants it to last. You should just be glad that you have a marvelous server to play on, where you can chat and have fun with others.

 

I question how he has faith for some of these staff members to be honest.

Let's get started shall we?

Firstly, this has been mentioned before. Cyp chooses his moderators wisely. If Cyp wasn't good at what he was doing the server would not receive this much support. He has faith in the moderators he promotes. He has a lot of experience with promotions over the years so his judgements are on point. A person who has been promoting players over many years is likely to have higher judgemental skills rather than someone who joins the server & simply doesn't like something. Cyp knows what he's doing, he has the experience & time to do what's right in every situation.

Secondly, something about moderators being afk? Are you actually serious or is this a joke? Moderators are players just like you & have their rights to do so. If a person is afk for 1 hour no one cares & then a moderator is afk for 20 mins everyone makes a fuss about it. They have the right to do so, just as everyone else does & secondly they are experienced moderators that have a reason behind staying afk. Take it from the point of view of a moderator. The moderator joins & is immediately flooded with spam messages. Well of course the moderator will choose to be afk.

Being afk doesn't necessarily mean the player is afk. Yes it is a term refered to as "away from keyboard", however how can you know that the person isn't actually doing something else on the server? 90% of moderators work behind the scenes, you just have no clue what work their doing. Complaining about moderators not kicking or muting advertisements of players? They are kicking people that advertise behind the scenes, you just don't know about it. There is a tremendous amount of work done to stop advertisements or better said the flood of spam in the chat. The players advertises which means that the message is already send & nothing can be done to prevent the spam to flow in. However moderators do punish & enforce the rules dramatically & deserve respect for what they're doing.

No one is perfect, however moderators are doing their best job to keep your Skyblock experience as pleasant as possible.
