Am here to seek guidance from the knowledgeable experts of skyblock. Background Info: Silly old me have been putting all my time into my alt island (org) Now its hacked, due to weak protection and the password being a word found in the dictionary . I am still trusted on the island ( can still work on it) , and the account is banned. However, i am afraid that after 6 months, the island will auto be replaced ( Need reaffirmation) What options do i have to prevent that? Changeleader (Cyp)? World edit (Cyp)? Help
Well, I'm gonna do all I can think of here to help, though I don't know for sure if I can assist you here. I'll try though. First off, change your password. A little unknown thing by you apparently, if you change your password on the account, it requires all users of the account to relog into that account with the new password. That should get rid of the hacker, in which case you can appeal for the account, and have it unbanned. If that doesn't work, well, you should be fine. Islands aren't auto replaced at all, tons of massively inactive or banned players still have their isles even after being gone for long periods of time. If none of those actually help, I don't really know what to do from then on. If you've got any more questions though, I can try to answer 'em. Good luck with that though.
Change your password, or if the password has been changed by the hacker, contact Mojang and have your account retrieved. Some islands are indeed replaced after a six month period, but there are also islands that have been left untouched for much longer. I would assume it all depends on island activity, and that the island is only reset after six months of inactivity, and not six months of owner inactivity.
Contacted mojang, cause my email is lost too (bought it in beta). Anyone can confirm that it is island activity and not owner activity?
I believe reset is based on owner activity, because I've seen people complain about losing their islands after their island owner was inactive for a long time. Good luck getting your account back! Even if they changed the email address you should be able to open a dispute. The problem is I don't know if they will believe you or be able to link you to your account if you are using a different email address now.
Tired to contact, mojang account lacked details (When minecraft was first released, they dont have security questions) So my alt is definitely gone >. > Any one have a solution? Dx
Not sure. Most of the complaints have been net people losing islands, not org players. I think your island will be fine. My opinion would be to rescue everything of value off the island via a very helpful mod and start again. Or get cyp to schematic the island and place it on another account's island that you can access... if he is willing.
Its the buildings on the island D: I hope cyp will see this then.... But he rarely does these island shifts right?
CypriotMerks will help you. For now, all you can do is wait for him. But if possible, try to recover your account. It should be possible if you have access to the mojang account linked to it.
Problem is my faith is not that high lol I needed a refund (with evidence) a year ago, he still havent get back to me...
Can't you have the account temporarily unbanned so you could use it to transfer island ownership before having it banned again? Assuming you can access the account at all.
I have seen people tagging him for weeks on appeals and donation help threads and he has never answered. At the end a mod contacted him and resolved it. Maybe it is not always the case, but most of times.
It has to do with when you tag him. Think about it, there's all those threads you just mentioned. He's getting tags from every single one of them. My guess is he doesn't really check all of his alerts, so he won't see whatever he's been tagged on. Whenever someone is looking at the forums, it'll say "was last seen a moment ago." During that time, if you tag him, he'll get it and most likely respond.
