You all might think I'm crazy or what not but this should really stop. It's really not cool saying "Respect your mum instead of telling others to respect other players". Now for all you lot know, you have no idea that I don't have a mother. I'm not going in to detail because I will just cry, but please take some credit that I find this heart-hurting. Please stop saying these "Your Mum" jokes, it aint funny. Especially when you have none.

    Kind Regards,
    Rain

"Your mom" is such a common joke people use ((a really bad one, I might add)) and possibly impossible to make people stop by telling them. I suggest /ignoring them, or blocking them, it's the Internet, people will be rude, people will be ignorant.

People will say it, despite having a mom or not, because they probably don't know that information about you unless you state it to them.

If you need any help or need to talk, feel free to shoot me a pm. :]

You can't really stop people from making these jokes. If it really gets on someone's feelings, which it really shouldn't, they can talk to a moderator.

Fight, he doesn't have a mother. I don't think putting lmao would be the most considerate. Sorry

Cookieh, if you want, talk to me about it (though I'm not the best, I get angry at the people who hurt my friends real quickly :/)

If he doesn't have a mother, then why is he taking offence.
Anyways, I said lmao because I pretty much repeated what I had said before, which seemed a little bit laughable to me

Ayy buddy, I get it. Losing someone that means a lot to you then having people 'joke' around about it isn't that fantastic of a feeling.

But there's really not much that can be done about it other then helping people realize, which would take a crazy long time. The joke's been around, and the joke isn't meant to hurt anyone nor is it targeted towards specific people. I'm really sorry to hear about your loss, but unfortunately the internet isn't a place that can be 'controlled'. Your best option is to ignore those who make those types of jokes.

It is not good to tell these jokes unless you are sure they won't take it personally. (If it's a really good friend)

sorry but like, not everyone is going to know that you don't have a mom. no one is going to type a 'your mom' joke and pause before hitting enter and think, wait, maybe that person doesn't have a mom.

if someone makes jokes on that even after knowing you don't have a mom and that upsets you then that's quite insensitive but you know, you can't just expect people to not do something just because one person gets offended by it
