Isn't it annoying when you get warned for your first chat offence and see a repeat offender get away with it? Isn't it? 9 times out of 10 is because "mods deal with things differently" or some dumb excuse. dolpinmilk made a thread about "everything wrong with the staff team".
I think staff should be dealing with things the same, like 3 kicks then a mute for spam, repeat offenders get higher, but keeping the same expectations.
Moderators can be biased and use the "I deal with things differently" excuse to get away with it, and not be punishing friends.

Also with staff reports. If the staff member is being reported I don't think they should be locking the thread. Not sure if this is official or made up, but aren't only Supermods and higher allowed to deal with staff reports? Some people get legit proof of something worth demotion, and the mods get away with it when a player would be banned for it.

Oh, I also love *cough* their attitude towards players. I've seen lots of staff either be on their period, or have a crappy attitude. I think staff should have a POSITIVE attitude towards others. Not calling any out in particular, but they know who they are. They just sound like they're in a fest or crap.

Moderators are even REALLY unhelpful, constantly being AFK, or pretending to be AFK. Moderators should actually be helpful ASAP. For all three servers, Skywars, Economy and Survival, there should be enough staff so there is always one on 24/7. Only a few actually do anything. Promote fungamer333, TheSugarCane and Jennie to super mods. Promote Lucy and Tribal to full mods. Promote I'mPhotor, kaybubs, ozapenguin and CoolCreeper to trial mods. Give Dewmellon another chance.

Evidence. With the last question on the reports "Can we show the user this evidence?" or whatever the hell it is, it should be removed. If you can't show the guilty person the evidence, unban them.

Finally, the forum report button. It will say something like "Unfortunately your report has been rejected." and occasionally shares why. Staff should be stating WHO dealt with the reports and have the reports be from that staff member and not some anonymous robot.


TL;DR: Staff need higher expectations and we need more staff.

 

Some moderators are doing OK. not as good as they should but meh. Super mods are really inactive and yet no demotion. Super mods should be super. They cant be super if they don't do anything. Don't get me wrong and all, but it would be nice to see the Super Moderators to be more involved again

I think the staff team has improved a lot over the past year in activity and amount of online mods. There are a few Smods who are really good at what they do. However I think only a few more mods should be promoted since I've looked at the App section and it was alright. Nothing that extraordinary. In my opinion the people I think who should really get mod are already mod anyways.
