Hello .net community,

It has come to my attention that when using the Voter Crate Keys, all you would get, or most commonly get, is Cobblestone. Now, I'm not entirely sure what else could be received from a Voter Crate Key, but I think it should be changed up so you don't get mass amounts of Cobblestone.

There are different rewards. Cobblestone is the more likely, but there is also stuff like redstone and iron and more... Even quite valuable items, although they are kind of rare

 

I'm pretty sure the voter crates plug-in is CratesPlus. I don't know if the server is 1.9 yet, but it's be way cooler to summon a chest with a specific loot table. I'm pretty sure it's be easy to work into a plug-in since you can do it with command blocks as chests with a data value can come with predetermined items. You could give a chest from a specific loot table as a "crate".

Support, but it is supposed to be hard to get good things from the crate. Maybe it could give you stacks of wood as often as stacks of cobble?

Support. But you also have to remember, Like I do, as a Greenie that the cobblestone was extremely beneficial to me.

But now as I have a larger island with a wealth of resources it's no longer needed and annoying. Just remember that everyone who uses Vote Keys is at a different level than the other.

Doing the math, I'd just like to Point out that 849 voter crates got Myrmidous 63616 Cobble. That's 994 Stacks. Sold at dirt cheap prices like Dogo's (4,5 Stacks a Grass), that's 221 Grass.

The rest of the items are roughly worth 50-55 Grass ingame, not much more.

That's a total of 276 Grass earned with 849 Voter Crates.

So every Voter Crate would be roughly worth 0,325 Grass.


On Topic: As a noob, I was more than happy to get cobble. I would run to the crate on receipt of the keys and hope for cobble. It's not the case anymore but thinking of all the noobs still out there, begging for cobble in the chat, I cannot Support that Suggestion.

Support, although cobble may be good for some people, I usually just add them up til I get to 64 then sell the keys.

 

Just like Peop, I also just keep my keys and then sell them. So maybe instead of worrying about getting just cobble, save up a stack and sell it. You're more likely to get the grass/diamonds you want that way.

 

no support it helped me a lot as a noob to get cobble ik my first island was built solely off of cobble from crate

 

Maybe adding a donor crate at /warp donor would be nice.
