Spawners: How are they obtained?


Much like the other guides I have written, this guide is aimed at the newcomers of .NET. My other guides can be found here:

How can I get spawners?

Spawners are available through many different methods, some easier than others. Below is a list compiled of all the possible ways to attain spawners.

• Voting –

In your daily /vote, you have 2 voting links:

Once you have completed the instructions on both of the voting pages and your vote has been counted, you will receive the standard 2 grass and 2 voter keys (1 of each per vote). However, there is an additional chance of getting further rewards from voting. One of these rewards is a mob spawner, with a 1/500 chance per vote. You can view the other rewards that are available by doing /rewards whilst in-game.

• Donating or Donor kits –

Donor 25: When purchased you will receive a single mob spawner. This is not a kit, but instead a one-time perk of donating.

Donor 50: Much like donor 25, when you donate for this rank you will also receive a mob spawner as a one-time perk. If you have upgraded your donator package from 25 to 50, you will not receive a spawner, as you already gained one when you bought donor 25.

Donor 100: When purchased directly from a non-donor rank, you will get 2 mob spawners (once again, not in a kit), however if you have upgraded from donor 25 or 50, you will receive only 1 spawner.

Donor 250: If you choose to purchase this rank from a non-donor rank, you will earn 8 spawners as a one-time reward. If you have upgraded your rank from a donor 100 you will only receive 7 spawners as a one-time perk instead.

Standalone donations (no ranks involved):

1 Spawner: Available as a one-time purchase for 5 USD.

4 Spawners: Avaiable as a one-time purchase for 15 USD.

Mob spawner kit: (Gain spawners through /kit spawner) This kit can be claimed once every 5 days, placing 1 mob spawner into your inventory. This command is available for 55 USD.

• Tradeshops and inter-player trades –

Most players have tradeshops, although not all of them choose to sell mob spawners. Usually players will advertise in chat if they are selling spawners, and how much for, commonly, they are sold for about 5 diamonds each.

• How can I change my spawner?

If you are a non-donator, then you will not be able to change your own spawners, as /spawner is a donor 25+ perk. To solve this issue, you can ask around in chat if anyone is changing spawners. If you are not sure whether you can trust the donator who has agreed, ask a mod instead, just to make sure that you can.
