forum mods would be nice theres a section in the staff section thats empty but mods do almost the same thing if not the same thing a forum mod would do. i mean, it would help mods a little, watching threads and comments, helping with random things, locking things, updating forums stuff if needed with new info, random stuff. mods watch in game, handle their own appeals. on top of that they get tagged for spam, locks, language stuff, arguements, etc. and get pm's and comments about forums stuff that a forum mod would be nice for. on top of the usual friendly stuff from friends which means, possible faster response times from the mods, maybe faster response and action on the usual threads/comments issues might alleviate Sean's job a little also also, yes with the trusted comment somewhere up there lol
Tbh, after Autumn, and everything that happened, I doubt there will be another forum moderator, if there is, it won't be for quite some time.... .-. The main problem of forum moderators is they don't really have a job to do tbh. Forum appeals? Sure, but the appeal normally has to deal with a different banning moderator anyway, so a mod would kinda need to give up their appeal. Or a forum mod would somewhat have to barge their way in as to say. Basically the only thing they can do is like, go for banning forum spam bots, and checking on threads, moving them, etc... Not exactly the biggest burden for a full mod to do.
Being trusted for moderator makes so much sense I don't understand how you don't understand it. Anyways, I agree with Shane.
There isn't much for a forums mod to do besides banning spambot accounts and moving forum threads to the correct section... There's no work for any forum moderator position...
Good point. I agree there isn't much to do just on the forums, but they don't have to have a lot of work. If they can't be a mod in-game, they can be one just on the forums.
