Hi

Long time player, lurker and enthusiast. A bit late to the party, though here is a brief intro on my life:

• 32 years old ( I know, I know, I'm old...)
• Married, no kids.....yet
• Joined 2012, (very) brief time as trial Mod. Wasn't for me...
• Worked in Housing for 9 years before starting my own business
• I now fly drones for a living after qualifying last June
• Build and design drones ranging from small toy frames to professional camera platforms
• Recently worked on the CBBC program airmageddon building drones for the contestants. This was a lot of fun!
• $100 donor
• Mainly just come on these days to give stuff away as I have build up to my build limit and enjoy helping new players
• Had one Coop. Learnt very quickly that you only should invite players you know and trust. Needless to say they were kicked loooong ago.
• Been griefed three times (prior to island protection obviously). Mods handled it very very well on all occasions. Cannot fault the team in any respect
• Enjoy meeting new players and helping as much as I possibly can
• Rarely chip into the chat.
• Enjoy building computers of all kinds from work machines to gaming rigs. Mainly for friends really as I wouldn't do it for a living.
• I build scale models when I find the time. Have been doing so for around 20 years. Used to write for a number of model magazines, though nowadays I build just for commission and private sale for some pocket money
• Very interested in history - read a lot around WW2 subjects
• Keen airsoft player - I can go into this more if you are interested...
• Keen fisherman (when I have time...)

We have a fantastic community here and I feel privileged to be a part of it.

Thanks for saying so. I'm certainly doing an interesting job at the moment. Or "just playing with toys" as my wife says...

 

Maybe I can see you on teamspeak one of these days, you seem incredibly interesting.

 

Teamspeak scares me... Maybe I'll check it out one day. Any pointers for me? How does it work best? i.e is it just a general chat or private sessions?
