    At this juncture I will not follow the standard procedure as I do not believe that I was properly banned. The thread I created was locked while I was working, which didn't give me any ability to defend myself. I was banned shortly thereafter.

    Yes @kehrana, I had lied. What else was I supposed to have done at that point though? The island had already been sold, in what I thought that was the lawful and proper way. Was I supposed to illegally trade it back so that I could legally trade it again to the same individual?

    I'd understand if I had island farmed and such, but given that I legitimately obtained all of those grass blocks and sand blocks through my Donor100 kits what is the issue in the first place? Is it simply because there is no way for you to tell?

    I really do apologize for the inconvenience with figuring out who the buyer was, but I think you should at least be able to respect the fact that I was respecting the buyer's privacy.

    That being said- I'm not going to kiss your a** to get unbanned from the server. I'm not going to write here in rainbow-colored font about how sorry I am and how much I love skyblock, about how great of a mod you are, or about who else I know on the server. As a 22-year old I'm not looking for you to condescendingly tell me that stealing is bad, either.

    A temporary ban may be reasonable, but a permanent ban after all I have contributed to the server? I'm not talking about my monetary donation, either. I have been a member of the community for quite some time now. I believe I have greatly helped a large number of people and nothing in me would ever intentionally try to defy any member of the server or the server's rules.

    Also, it would be wise to fill out the ban appeal in the correct format to increase your chances of getting unbanned.

    Given that @Kehrana and I were discussing this on a thread which I created and which she closed, I don't think I need to do so. I'm looking to continue the conversation between her and I and this seemed to be the best means of doing so.

    This isn't me being disrespectful or belligerent.

    Illegal trading will result in a ban.

    That's a standard reply for a rule being broken, but you did in fact sell an island without it being approved by a mod and all illegal-to-trade items still on the island. Your trading post was offering an illegal trade which by staff's right is allowed to mention what rule was broken and then lock the thread.

    I don't understand why you felt it was necessary to lie.
    You ask "what else were you supposed to do"... you could have just told the truth and we could work it out - most likely either having you retake ownership of the island, or staff can destroy those blocks. There was no need to make up a story about you digging up all the blocks, then being trusted by the new owner and replacing them all with the new owner's blocks. I asked for the new owner's identity so I could check their activity on the island and so I could get in touch with them if needed, about the situation. If you want to protect their identity you can put the name in [ hide ] tags.

    There is no legal way to transfer dirt and sand between players. The proper way to trade that island would be to dig up all of it prior to trading, and destroy the blocks. Regardless of whether island farming is involved, the rule stands that you cannot transfer dirt/sand between owners or between islands.

    Sorry Lemonade . Life has been pretty hectic this week.

    Also, Kerahna- I am sorry for this whole debacle. I assure you we will never again have any issues like this.

    How can we mitigate this situation so that I can resume playing on the server?

    I will trust that you are clear on the rules now and won't be doing this again.
    As for the island situation, the easiest solution would be for mods to remove all grass/dirt/sand on the island. I do need to communicate this to the new owner, however, so I need you to give me their name.

    It was a one-time thing.

    That solution works for me. I've communicated with the owner and will give her the grass that she needs to make the island how it was, post-destroying of what there currently is.

    Her name is Bear00__ (zero zero, and two underscores).

    I talked to her in game and it seems she would prefer to just trade the island back. That can be done without destroying any of the sand/dirt. I will unban you now but leaving this thread open until either you complete the "return" of the island, or tell me that you talked to her and decided to proceed with the trade (and we will remove the dirt/sand as discussed).

    Interesting. My impression was that she did not want to trade the island back.

    I will get in contact with her and figure it all out shortly. I'll let you know here when I know.

    Her and I have talked, and we are proceeding with the trade. Could you please remove all dirt/grass/sand on the island?

    Bear has told me that you are refusing to trade the island back, and refusing to provide the grass. Therefore you are re-banned for failure to comply with unban conditions.
