Mods aren't required to refund any items lost from resetting your island. And as for your items, they are gone and you have no way of getting them back. Sorry
Nothing can be done, as it was your responsibility. The only thing is people refunding you out of their own pocket. List what you lost and I might be able to refund something for you.
You should post proof of owning it. Without proof people have posted threads like this pretty much just begging for stuff.
Mods can only return items if someone stole them from you (and even then, that depends on whether or not we are able to retrieve them). If they were destroyed by /newisland or clearlag or thrown into the void, they are gone forever.
There is no way to roll your island back. Island farming is prohibited, so you cannot just take everything with you and reset the islands over and over. Therefore player's inventories are cleared when resetting their island.
I am terribly sorry that this happened to you, but everyone's life cannot be fulfilled every second of their life. It happens sadly, I would donate a few diamonds, but because of my large dp of 64 diamonds. I'm kinda broke. :/
I'll refund you the grass. Just for future notes clear your inventory before you reset your island. I'll be online around 2:40 pm PST.
I believe he said he only cared about the grass, I have close to a double chest of it, so I'm not worried about refunding it.
