What is the value of y in the equation 2(3y − 6) = 0?

 

I believe y = 1?

 

Expand it to 6y -12 = 0 Bring the -12 to the other side
6y = 12 Divide both sides by 6
y = 2

 

Ah! I forgot to distribute the 2 to the -6 ;-;
I take Algebra at school as well this is a disappointment for me.
