Hello! This is a guide for the newcomers of the forums if they ever want to know what the tools are for at the top of the thread box. To use them, just simply click on the tool, and you will be able to use it. (To know when it is on and off, it will be highlighted) Staring off... This is the Bold, Italic and the Underline tools. These tools are handy for when making something stand out. Next are the word tools, as I would like to call them. The A is the tool for adding colour to your text, if you click it, it will come up with some colours that can be used. Just click on the colour you want and type. The stands for the text size, there is a varied amount of sizes for your text, just like; (1, 2. 3, 4, 5, 6 and lastly 7)The text size is automatically set to four when you create a thread/comment. The a and A that are next to each other stands for the font, so this means it changes the style of your text. Just like this. The next options are the link options. ( ) These tools are for linking and unlinking. After that is the alignment tool. This tool allows you to set the position of where your text should be A little bit like this! Then, there is the listing tools and the indent/outdent tools. The first one is used to set bullet points to things, and the second one just like the bullet points, just with numbers. The other tools are to indent and outdent text. Like This! Next, there is the Smiley tool, the image tool, the media tool and the "insert..." tool. The smiley tool puts faces on your thread. Just click it and a multiple amount of faces will come up. Just a hint, if you want emojis, click the emoji smilies that is located below. The image tool is for inserting an image onto a thread, but you need the link address to put the image in it. The media tool is for putting videos in that are from places like Youtube! Just get the link address and put it in the box that pops up when clicking it. The Insert tool gives you many options from, "Quote", "Spoiler", "Code" and "Strike-through, these are tools mainly used when helping someone with something or putting an image for example into a box that is clickable. Like this: The tool after that is for saving or deleting a draft. Just click on it and the save and delete option will appear. Next is the undo and redo tool, and basically is what it says. It undoes things and redoes things! The next two them are to remove format and to use the BB code editor, just click them when testing if you want If you ever need to edit a thread, click the edit button next to the delete and reply buttons underneath the thread. I hope this helps many people, and have a nice day . Just pop by if I have missed something out and I will be sure to edit it in the thread.
