Yep, but you can say that they are under the radical sign.

 

I've never done "Completing the Square" with radicals therefore I don't know that method. However I used the quadratic formula to factorise it.
1) (2√3 - 3x)(2√3 + 3x)
2) (x - 8 + 4√2)(x + 8 - 4√2)
