I have played minecraft for a while now, and it has gotten more and more boring. I would just like to know if I would be able to get the money I spent on a donor back, even with me being a donor for a solid amount of time. If I cannot get my money back from my donor purchase, that is totally fine. And should I contact cyp or noobcrew?
You definitely won't get the money back. If that was allowed, everyone would do it when they left and it would have basically been free donor.
I dont think you will get in legal trouble over anything under $200 on this server tbh but I would exercise caution.
As everyone has said when you donated you accepted terms and conditions. This states you cannot chargeback your payments/donation. If you do you will be banned, and you may be chased up to pay the money back you owe as you broke the terms, therefore it becomes a legal issue.
That's like buying a cookie eating half of it, and trying to return it. It don't work like that. Anyways I'll be a mini mod for a sec Question answered? Can a mod lock it now?
Given that some of the 'perks' that are still being advertised when people buy the ranks are not actually being given I would say we all have legal grounds on which to charge back. I intentionally say 'BUY' because shop.skyblock.net clearly states 'BUY' not donate. People can argue all they want that it's a donation but it all comes down to how the website presents it. Which perk you ask? "- Access to the "God" Mob Arena class." no ones getting this but it's one of the listed perks. It's like buying a TV that claims to have all channels 1-10 but channel 8 is missing! Take it back and get a refund. I think you can charge back based on that.
If a vendor (Skyblock) offers something for sale that they have no intention of supplying once they take your money it can lead to legal action.
Given that all ranks list a perk that skyblock does not, and has no intension of providing, I think consumer rights would kick in and everyone would be entitled to charge back. I think Noobcrew and Cyp ought to be careful, accepting money for a service/perk/product they have no intention of providing is criminal.
