If you build a platform you'll Need 99 x 99 = 9801 blocks. That's almost three double chests. I can sell you 1 DC of smooth Stone for two Diamonds, that's 0,74 grass per stack (1dia = 20 grass). I can make it Stone bricks DC for only 3 per DC, or even chiseled Stone for 4 dia per DC. I have no spare time to work on your project though, sorry.
Well... Can anyone do redstone? I would greatly appreciate a mob softener or a crusher! And I am willing to pay 5 diamonds for a compact but useful redstone machine ^^
As the penguin said, you can Change mob spawners. But the collector / grinder depends at a very high degree on the mob. Does it have to be drowned or burnt, or killed by Player for Drops, can it be pushed by Lava / water, does it sustain fall / suffocation damage, what are ist spawn requirements? You cannot just built a mob grinder and put spawners for each mob type in it. Would you provide the raw material? Because for 5 Diamonds, you merely get one spawner, If you offer them for the sole act of building a grinder, I am your man. Bear also in mind Hoppers don't work on skyblock.net. So whatever drop you want to collect, you'll have to stand by your grinder to collect it. However I'd build an AFK-Well at the drop site so you can collect while doing something else (if it's not a drop requiring you to kill the mob yourself, like Blaze Rods for instance).
