Why in all that is in block form did CypriotMerks and Noobcrew update the server to 1.9? No one can find anything because of massive chunk lag. And it will not load anything!

 

Downgrade back to 1.8? As far as I'm aware, you're going to have to be patient for the server to be patched and upgraded to 1.9.

 

Oh okay, thanks Nocturnish. I guess I was just hoping that my client would be able to play on 1.9. Guess not.

Correct.

 

It's really simple to get around the 1.9 lag, just create a different MC profile in your launcher and have it set to use the 1.8.9 Jar and name the profile Skyblock or something so you'll use, so that when you launch MC and you'll have next to no lag in comparison to launching Skyblock in 1.9

 

We thought it was client issue but it's not, I'm uploading the patch right now but the update will take place on our next server restart.

It took almost 1 year for the server to go from 1.7.9 to 1.8, so you may expect a long time on waiting

 

Well I understand that. But on the server currently, we have most functions accept most of the brand new items from the end. Possibly the shields and arrows, I am not sure about that (haven't tested it yet) and atleast we have the slot in our inventory for the Elytra, so far.

 

That's why I use mc 1.8.9
