Maybe have the reports for bans in the archive be censored of language or advertisements because it kind of defeats the purpose of banning advertisers if the advertisement is put on the forums. Language should be censored because there are probably quite a few younger kids/players that are on the forums and when people talk about very inappropriate things then they could end up getting in a lot of trouble. If anyone would like me to ask for this to be closed then let me know in a conversation.
Good suggestion, but I don't really support it. I think that it should go a step further. I think that the report archives should be hidden so nobody but the staff can read closed reports. Seeing as how we don't have a witness protection program on Skyblock we can't really protect people if someone sees who reported them.
I don't understand, you need screenshots for proof, and if you blur it out, moderators don't have proper proof to punish. If you mean on forums, like as in, they post a screenshot and explain what they did in the thread, maybe. I mean like, you don't need to swear/advertise on the forums if you're posting a screenshot with the proof.
If people on these forums have a problem with players swearing, then maybe they just shouldn't click on a archived report thread that has 'swearing' or 'vulgarity' in the title. ^ Exactly. If the report contains content that isn't legal for global chat (other server ip addresses mainly), then just hide the content. I see where you're coming from, but I disagree with this. If people don't want the player that they are reporting to know it was said person that reported them, there are ways to keep that from happening. (Sending staff members proof privately, either via a forum PM or through an external service like Skype. Or just hide the content of your report.)
If mods deem the language too offensive they can use hidden content before they archive it. The forums are mainly for those who are 13+ therefore mild language wont hurt. Swearing in the title can be edited easily. I suppose this suggestion is mainly for staff to carefully consider the appropriateness of the content of the report and to edit accordingly. But this is not a big enough issue that would require staff only view for archives.
No Don't Hide The Archives!!!! Its My main forum of entertainment See What He Did There With "forum" XD
No support Hidden Content: **Hidden Content: Content of this hidden block can only be seen by staff members**
