As everyone knows, the economy in the .net sever is basically based on grass. This is not a bad thing but it does create a problem. Grass becomes the most important thing in the entire game, and there is only one legit way to gain it, to vote. That it self is not bad, but it does limit the amount one can get daily. Grass trade is ilegal (if I am not wrong), but many people decide to head towards that way of making money since is easier and technically fair. After all, you work to get something then sell it. I am not against this way of making money either. If we add this two things up we can say that you enter the game, get the vote grass, then spend that grass trying to have a better shop/island to get more grass, eventually more grass is needed so you vote once more (If the voting time is up of course), and spend it once more in the shop. In conclusion, this economic system is in favour to those which have been in the server the longest, making new guys not interested (only a few continue to play). If this system continues, it will reach a point in which there will be no new people and slowly the old ones will start to leave for multiple reasons, like boredom, lack of costumers or completion of own goals. This means the server will eventually die out (that time is not close though). So, if you mods wish to avoid this, you shoulf add another way of optaining grass (like challenges, an arena (if you do make an arena please make the combats be organized, I mean a diamond man with a diamond man not aginst a leather one) or (personally) I think people would love to have hunger games or skywars in the server in which the winner gets grass) and also it would be important to implement "noob" help technics, such as a kit every day for a month that gives them cobble stone and sometimes grass (this kit should only be for new guys not expirienced players, because it wouldn`t do ay good). Dirt trade is illegal, grass is legal. You can get grass in kits or trading with others.

 

oops, had a misunderstanding. Even is so, some measures must be added or else people will truly get bored. I strongly suggest adding a pvp like hunger games that give away grass or other materials, this way people have other things to do in the server but still can keep growing in their skyblock island.

Well I don`t mean pvp in people`s islands I mean it like a separate island that belongs to no one. like a separate place in which people fight between each other using things in chests. I mean like a hunger games, but it will only be a side thing, not the real purpose of the server, the real one would be to make an awesome island.

yes that is what I mean, but the winner gets somthing that can help their skyblock island. So in a certainway it is like to join skywars and skyblock.

Well I have to add that my suggestion does not stick to PVP it could also be a parkour which has a prize at the end or a arrow shooting contest (which test your aim with minecarts or something) or a official server skin comp or stuff like that. I believe it would make the game better, AT LEAST.
