   I believe I was banned for using a command that needed to be removed, but for the time being, was illegal.

7. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? I've been on Skyblock for quite a long time now, but I used to go by the name 'saigonheat'. But as far as I can remember, I've only been banned once due to using block glitching. I do not deny that I used it or that it was on purpose, my only defense is that I didn't fully read the rules.
   
8. Why do you think you should be unbanned?
   To be honest, I misunderstood the rules. I saw Ginger (Or someone, not sure who exactly) say in chat that /minecraft:me was an illegal command, but I guess I only assumed that it mean spamming it was illegal. Again, I do not deny that I was doing something wrong, or that I was wrongly banned. I only hope that you understand the misunderstanding and let me be unbanned. Thanks - Ultra

You admit to doing it, and I stated specifically in chat several times to not do the command. I stated that it was an illegal command why was because it can be used for spam and it's not suppose to be used. Did you see these several chat messages?

 

No. The first message I saw was "It needs to be removed, but for now, it's illegal" (Give or take). Not knowing you were talking about, I scrolled up a bit and skimmed through chat. I saw someone (I'm pretty sure it wasn't you) say something about the minecraft:me command. I didn't check it thoroughly (That's where I went wrong) but saw someone say something like "...But only idiots would spam the minecraft:me command", therefor I automatically assumed it was illegal to spam that command.

I believe its illegal due to players being able to use it and others not being able to see their rank or nickname.

 

Can you elaborate a bit more on why you were in the wrong and why it's illegal?

 

Yes I can. I was wrong in using an illegal command even though a moderator clearly stated that it was illegal to use. Using this command is illegal most likely due to normal players using it, allowing others to not see this players name and rank. In doing so, a player could lie about their current rank, and scam other players. (e.g Say they're staff, and enforce rules of their own) Another reason would be because players could spam with it.

I promise not to use this illegal command from this time forward.
