[New Zealand] Trola's Moderator Application Your in-game name: My IGN is generally Trola but most recently Ricky. How old are you?: I am 22 years old. Which timezone are you in?: I am located in New Zealand in the Australasian side of the world XD, which really means the server is short of mods when I am on. Do you know the rules?: Yes, and willing to enforce them if required. Which languages do you speak?: I speak English as my native tongue and reasonably fluent in Español. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?): I have only ever been server side banned for when there was huge amounts of lag it thought I was flying. Why do you think you should be a mod?: I am interested in becoming a moderator as I know we are short of mods on my side of the world, also since this is the only Minecraft (MC) server I really play I dedicate all of my MC time to this server. I have now been playing this server since 2014. There has been a few accounts where I have been griefed and scammed and know what it feels like to lose a lot! So I wish to help others avoid situations like these. I enjoy giving back to the community which is generally why I design areas for people to kill mobs or even shops to get items in a more co located area. It has come to that time of server life people have started messaging me as they have been griefed or getting scammed, so it seams some people already acknowledge my seniority. I do not tend to ignore messages I receive unless a player is intentionally spamming or if I happen to be AFK. I understand being a moderator is voluntary work and we do it from the kindness of our hearts and to the best of our ability to maintain the natural flow of the server. I think I should be a moderator because I am empathetic towards others, understanding to people, hard but reasonable and fair, mature and committed to helping others. I have never held a grudge on someone even if they scammed or griefed me. If I am selected I look forward to supporting the community further. How long can you be active on the server every day?: I have spent many hours on Minecraft (specifically this server) on most days up to 5 hours. I am able to spend up to 10 hours on here at once which I have been doing recently. I aim to spend maybe at least 2 hours a day when I am free, this may not always be the case due to work. Do you have any past experience as a moderator?: I have had no real experience with moderating others servers as I have only coded my own and hosted that as well as done some java scripting. Extra: I've been told I should put through an application by several people... Well here we are .. Guess I should speak some Kiwi Lingo.. "Guys just remember to weather proof your decks and eat your Fush N Chups!" And here is some more information that doesn't matter. When I did typing tests I typed at a rate of 58 WPM on average over 3 consecutive with no errors. Note I was not aloud to look at the keyboard and the computer screen was turned off XD I have a great passion in mathematics, programming and networking, good old Physical Training and sports!

Trola, I think you need to watch the sass, yet I like you. I see you online participating in petty discussions, letting people (read: trolls) bait you. You will need to do your best to grow a thicker skin and rise above, especially if you want to become a moderator. You also have not participated much on the forums, but I myself do not and I don't place so much weight on this. I do agree you seem to have a good head on your shoulders, and I think underneath the sassiness, you seem to have a good heart, you have the time and the inclination to help, and so I would support you becoming a trial / tmod. I want to see how you handle it. P.S. and you write well.

I'm neutral so far. I see you online quite often in the morning for me so I'm guessing you're pretty active. I think you're quite mature from what I have seen. However, I don't recall ever seeing you help much and I never see you on the forums. You need to be active on the forums when you're a Moderator too. The application itself is great and requires little improvement to make it perfect. Good luck.
