Actually, I joked about this once... I said "everyone should go die in a hole." I thought I was saying it playfully, kinda like the frozen fish thing. But you got really mad at me... just saying. I don't disagree with any of it.

 

Though again, this should be a 2 month temp ban and if not a perm ban. And any mods here? What would you do if someone came up to you and said... "This person is being so mean and rude that I want to kill myself." Besides banning the person being rude (considering that they were so rude they made someone want to die), what would you do for the person who wants to kill themself? Just a question. Also, didn't Stel get temp banned because he said publicly in the chat that she was going to kill herself?

Honestly I don't know why someone disagreed. But I totally agree with this. If your going to say that stuff. Be sure to put jk. Some people don't take it as a joke and take it quite seriously. Did you know out of every suicides over bullying, 1/5 of them, the bully didn't even know he was making the victim consider suicide. IT'S NOT COOL. EVEN FOR ME

I mean I get your points but I really don't feel the need to make it illegal. I'm not sure about you, but I've never once considered suicide because one person who doesn't know me told me to kill myself. I think it can be a ban-able offense if it is constant every minute every day. But hearing it every once in awhile, no.

If you consider suicide because someone who has no idea who you are said to, you need to get off the internet right away and meet with some one who can help

 

If you actually consider killing yourself from a complete stranger on the internet saying 'kys' then I think you're the one who needs help

I get so much death threats through /m telling me do slit my wrists in the bathtub. It is not fair to the people that are suffering from all these death threats, this needs to end. I know that there is /ignore <player>, but that doesn't take your feelings away. Once you here those words kys you actually think about it since everyone is saying it to you. I think that there should be an automatic punishment. If someone says kys or kill your self, or something to do with that, they will get 1 warning, but if they do it again then they will get a 5 day perm ban, so on. People cannot joke around by this since death threats are very serious to lots of players. The people that are saying it to someone, have to think twice before they say something. Now back onto the automatic punisher. If someone says kys just to say it and they, lets say get banned for not saying it to a player or anyway, but just saying it, that there can be an appeal for that. The automatic punisher can change to something better. This is what I mean. In global chat or in message, if someone says kys <player> (or something resembled) they will get a punishment for that since they are specifically saying that to a player, but if they just say kys, nothing will happen. In /m it's different kind of. If someone messages (ex. /m TheEpicEmerald kys) then they will get the punishment just like the global chat, but since they are specifically saying it to 1 player that the plug-in knows that they are saying it to the player they are messaging. If they also message the player kys <player> they will also get the punishment with anything else that is resembled to the death threat. The down side is that the plug-in may need a player list where you have to list everyone on the skyblock server that applies to, for example if someone says kys TheEpicEmerald, then the plugin needs to know that, that is a player in the game. I think that you would need to add the player list, since people are specific in these situations. Now there are lots of death threats in the world, so Noobcrew can make sure he can add as much death threats as possible to the list of the automatic punishments for death threats. This can also apply to anything close to a death threat. Since people will know that they cannot say that in global or in message they can change the name like (ex. kys TheEpicEmerqld), but the plug-in can see if those letters match anyone in the server players list to know if that name is close to a player. This can also apply to nicknames too. Lets get back to the whole conversation. A punishment is needed in this situation since people can be joking some times or some times they are not. To wrap up this long support statement, I agree with everyone else that said support!

Definite Support. This is an utmost serious matter and everyone certainly need to treat each other with respect. What many offenders don't realize is that the receiving end for these death threats may be rather sensitive and allow it to affect them. I find it strange that in Skyblock, where inappropriate content or actions are strictly prohibited, ostracizing and abusing other players is not against the rules.
