You can change a spawner if you are a 25 donor using /spawner or ask a donor to help change it. You can have most hostile mobs such as skeletons, spiders, creepers, magma cubes, slime You can have most passive mobs except for horses and rabbits You can use spawn eggs to change spawners.
Right click placed spawner with spawn egg. Though since spawn eggs are somewhat bugged im not sure if it is still working.
