It has come to my attention, that some people have been picking on this specific player, who shall not be named. I have noticed some things on the server that cause this player to feel sad/down. I would like to just, ask, or tell everyone: Please don't tell someone something that you know will make them sad. We are a community for a skyblock server, cmon now. We're supposed to have fun, aye? Thanks for reading, and please think before some of you say.
tl;dr - Don't bully on skyblock. With all those words might as well name the player and/or bullying that happened, otherwise quite pointless imo.
So a player being bullied is pointless, I'm trying to get the community to be a better place. I will not name the player because he has asked not to tell anyone, sorry.
I wonder who that player is... No but on task, there needs to be more MODS. well ACTIVE ones not just ones that get it and then log off right after! to the fact of bullying. like in real life, cannot be stopped.
Misunderstanding a lot. I said the thread is pointless. Yes you are making a fair point saying not to bully -- but its already a rule, so its not like its some announcement that will change things greatly having people go "oh I didn't know I couldn't/shouldn't do that," therefore I don't see very much significance in this thread. Like I said, the sum of your whole statement is don't bully -- that's it.
It's inevitable that people are going to get picked on, harassed, talked about etc. mods do it, players do it and pretty much everyone is guilty of this. But essentially if you go out of your way to make someone else's life miserable over a server it tells a lot about you, nothing good. If you take things online to heart and it affects you to the point it's affecting your irl you need to step away.
Bullying happens; it sucks but its inevitable. There's an ignore button on forums, /ignore on the server, and you can block people on ts and Skype, as well as most other social media's. That's really all you can do.
Bullying is part of human nature. You put people down to make yourself feel better. I do it, you do it. You may not admit it, but I gladly will. I'm a bad person, but it's human. This thread is stupid and won't change a thing. You can't change human nature.
Turn off the computer if it's an issue. Exactly why I maintain no external communication with anyone I meet online.
