    Hi everyone,

I was just wondering, how much are keys worth per stack?

Also what rewards other than cobblestone are there for the keys?

    Thank you.

I don't know how much are keys worth per stack in net.

You can get cobble, iron pickaxe, a diamond (not sure), a diamond pickaxe, grass, iron, slime, glass blocks and some other things (not sure)

    Correct me if i'm wrong

The economy has been selling VoteKeys at around 1-2 diamonds per stack.

In Economy (Org) each vote key is sold for 300$

    So a stack of vote key (64) x 300 = Price of a stack.

    64 x 300 = 19200$

    1 diamond in net (Skyblock.net) = 2.5k$ in economy

So 19200 divided by 2.5k (2500) = (Amount of diamonds)

This is what I've received from the voter crate: Multiple stacks of cobblestone (Reaching from 1 stack to a max of 4 per voter key), a grass block, 8 bottles o' enchanting, a diamond pickaxe, an iron pickaxe, redstone, lapis and iron ingots.

Oh, Myrmwife and I happen to have the information to give you an actual, real answer on this sir.

    Simple version:
A Vote Crate Key is worth how much time it takes to get keys divided by the time it takes to get [name of possible item from using a key].

Key Cost in Actual, Real Life Time:
    • (Jan, 2016) The server averages 2,644 votes/day, which means 8 vote parties (drop decimal). Source (multiply by 2 vote sites)
    • Each Vote Party gains you an average of 1.88 keys, with the mean key rate of 2 per person. Source
    • So the mean possible keys per day is (8 * 2) = 16 Keys from Vote Parties.
Don't forget you can vote twice per day for a key, with an 8% chance for an extra key (ignoring extra here).
    • With a little over 14K minutes every day, your real life cost per key is (1 day / 18) = 800 minutes.

Every vote key is worth 800 minutes of your actual life. But where is the value of the key? The value comes from what you can get for trading that sucker to the reward chest. So we need some sort of massive table of values for what items you can get from the Vote Crate, how often you get them and what percentage that is.

Here you go: Crate Drop Spreadsheet

So we have how many keys per day and what the odds are for turning them into actual items. It looks like the most valuable items you can obtain are grass, iron and glass blocks. So now we need to know what those items are worth in actual, no kidding, "this is your life" time.

Myrmwife and I have a spreadsheet for that, also: Skyblock Economy

So it looks like out of 18 keys per day the expected outcome is:
    (Minimum)
    • 15 rewards of cobblestone (average reward: 1 stack). Fifteen stacks of cobble is worth less than half a grass block.
    • 2 grass (most common grass reward is: 1 block)

    And incredibly tiny chances of:
    (Maximum)
    • 0.082 for iron ingots (the only iron reward is: 3 ingots), iron is worth 21.25 grass each, so this reward is worth (21.25 * 3 * 0.082) 5 grass.
    • 0.16 for glass (the only glass reward is 8 blocks). Glass is worth 22.6 grass each, making this reward worth (22.6 * 8 * .105) 19 grass.

Which would make one Vote Crate Key equal to a minimum of 2.5 expected grass, divided by 18 keys, multiplied by 42.35 minutes (current RL cost per grass) = 5.8 minutes of your life.

With an incredibly tiny chance for a maximum Vote Crate Key value of (cobble value + grass + glass block value) divided by 18 keys, times 42.35 minutes per grass = 50.58 minutes of your life.

For a final tl;dr value of:
1 Vote Key Is Worth: 0.13 Grass Blocks.
64 Vote Keys Are Worth: 8.75 Grass Blocks.

And yeah, after doing the math I was making this face.

    Have a nice day, BatmanLegoIndy.

(For you mathletes out there: Yes, I'm rounding and there are expected outliers/"edge cases". But for the average person just poking around this is a pretty good indicator of time spent.)

I put them in chests, but I have like hundreds of chests, so..

1 key is worth 2 grass, or is it 1 grass for 2?

I've seen that, just asking if the thread creator has gotten his answer.
