So, I've been trying to help my friend Bertie-Fornia about this "account situation" and I came to think, what if we payed someone (in game cash) to make an account for him. Is this illegal or legal? Please explain. If it's legal - I'll pay someone 500k to make an account for him. ~Survy
I don't think it's illegal to buy someone a mc account for in-game money, I've seen it be done before, but you should ask Cyp, if I see him on net I will ask him.
I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to sell or buy Minecraft accounts, but if you want clarification Krissy
Only if they are second hand accounts. Drogo thinks Survivors means a brand new account bought from Mojang ($26.95 USD) which is fine as far as Mojang is concerned. Drogo doesn't know what amount of Skyblock cash would cover that. As far as Skyblock is concerned this may be considered no different to buying a carton of beer for Skyblock cash/items which Drogo is pretty sure is not allowed. However, Skyblock may benefit from this new account which at some stage may be upgraded. Drogo thinks, that only Cyp can answer this one.
The rule on mineverse is you cannot advertise the sale of an account on the forums. You can in game. That is the extent of my knowledge on this rule. Because a minecraft account is not an in game item it is exempt from the trades for real life cash. We do not enforce mojang rules. However for now I would not sell accounts until confirmation from an admin.
Can you please explain, I'm a bit confused. So basically you're giving .ORG cash for someone to use real $ to make an account for your bud? not that isn't illegal.
For someone who made a thread on teaching people English, you really don't know English well do you? Administrator isn't a synonym for co-owner. Merkel just has administrative duties. Anyways, lock.
