Nobody should have any access to pex except the administration.

I think it would be a nice addition to be able to change your prefix in buycraft (with set parameters)

Ex. It askes what colors you would like your brackets and asks you to customize the skygod colors (or donor)


You would have to log in with your forum account that MUST be linked with your ingame name.

 

One of the main things you guys are pointing out is who should have the command. I added a poll to keep track of the responses. Basically like any other poll, what ever option gets the most votes will be the winning idea that is finalized in this suggestion.

I'm not sure about this specific idea, but it seems like a good idea for skygods to have an easier way to change prefixes.

It'd be nice for people to change their prefixes, but maybe people would go a bit overboard with changing their prefix colours every few minutes. I'm not sure about s-mods having pex, but I guess it'd be nice for them to change their prefixes. Like Adrian said, I'm not sure the specific idea, but sure.

There is only one problem with this idea. There is no way to allow someone to change their prefix without first giving them the permission to change it to anything they want. For example, someone could change their prefix from [Skygod] to [QueenOfEngland] or any other wacky thing. However, if there was a way to request a prefix change such as /prefix, as you first suggested, and have it saved to a location where Cyp could look at it and confirm the change, since he is the only one with the pex permissions to do so, there would be no problems. I will type out an example to make it a bit more clear:

1: Player types /prefix &5[&dSkygod&5] (Command only accepts [Skygod] and [Donor] variations) or better yet, player types /prefix which opens a chest GUI for change of prefix so there will be no chance of anyone trying to change their prefix to [QueenOfEngland]. (I'll leave photos as examples of the GUI)
2: Server saves &5[&dSkygod&5] to a book that Cyp will receive in his inventory when next logging in
3: Cyp sees the request and approves it from the book with a simple click. (yes this is possible)
4: Player logs on next time and has &5[&dSkygod&5] prefix set

I love this idea, but what if Cyp's inventory is full and he can't receive the book or books? (I know that this probably wouldn't happen, but it's feasible so I thought I should bring it up.)

 

If there's a cool down I don't think there would be enough SkyGods changing their prefix, Its a valid point though, I think I can find someway to avoid that.

S-Mods are usually hard to reach when you're not in the right timezone.
Especially when you only have 1-2 hrs of game time a day.
