Nothing. There is no point, and that's the entire point.

The meaning of life is open to interpretation at the moment.

My opinion is that there isn't a distinguishable purpose. There's no factually-determined meaning at this current point in time, so, for all we know, it could have absolutely no meaning whatsoever. It could be to work to determine the meaning of life. It could be to poledance until you're 70 and retire. There's nothing to go off of.

 

Wow. Uh. Srs question, deserving of a srs answer.

The thing about life, in my view, is that what you get out of it is entirely dependent on what you put in. There are so many different ways to get rewarded for what you do, but I think the most important to me:
1. Love / gratitude
2. Happiness (from other people)
3. Smiles
4. Money, of course (I need to live too. )

But looking at my order of those things, I try to contribute to the world in a way that gets me those rewards. And that means I tend to be a giving, helpful person. Whether it's anonymously buying somebody a rank, or giving a new person cobble / advice / money. Or even in real life, doing things for free for somebody else. Running across a crosswalk so that a person driving can get to their destination a little faster.

All of these things are things I do to try and make the world a better place. And, while I know I can never improve the whole world, I think that if everybody made an effort to do 1 nice thing for somebody else every day (and not the same person ) the world would be a better place. I try and do that, and I think that makes the small circle that I'm in better...and that's good enough for me.

 

Also, do the things you want. Don't feel restricted. You only got roughly 100 years to work with. So figure out what impression or impact you wanna leave on the world. And then go do it. And be yourself in the process. :3

 

It's a test.
