I'm not saying you specifically do this, because I haven't seen it, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when people get butthurt about somebody using 5 consecutive caps; I think mods deal with the caps rule in context of the situation. For example somebody "LMFAO" is less likely to get kicked than somebody saying "F U YA COMMIE" namsayin?

mini-modding just because "THE RULE SAYS THIS" is annoying and does more harm to the community than good. Blanket reporting / kicking / banning is silly, and acting like a robot isn't part of the mod's job description...

^on the topic of mini-modding, not exactly you since idk...

idk man, just annoying when somebody uses caps on org, and 4 people respond saying "CAPS" - js, minimodding in certain cases is another word for being a jerk (not talking about anyone in particular)

Sometimes moderators might warn the player in /msg. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Sometimes in org, I see tnubs online. And look like they are afk. But when someone using is using caps or spamming, they will be kicked by them. So I rarely ever tell them to watch there caps or stop spamming while mods are on.

Lol. Stop telling mods what to do.
They do their jobs. If they didn't, they'd be demoted.

So you're not telling him what to do but you're telling him what you think he's not doing that he should do...

No need to tell everyone about everything you do, Wade. We can easily check your recent information to do so :--)

For probably the first time ever, Wade isn't the most annoying one in a thread.

Regardless of the bans, lies, forges, etc. I'm sorry to break it down for you, but you will never become a moderator due to the following reason: you have no Dog walking qualification.

    This is the pointless thread...

Mods just do there own jobs w/o being told what to do by other non-staff people.

We often kick two times [ as a warning ] before temp-banning or muting. I can assure you, mods try their best to punish each and every offender equally, and I'm honestly sorry if you cannot see that.

A lot of times I'll kick a player, then see these "Mini-mods" warn them way after they've already been kicked. Just be patient, man. Offenders don't typically listen to players who warn them anyways. :p

Look, take some advice from me and just cease minimodding in chat. Before I became a moderator, I always annoyed people in chat by minimodding and telling them to not spam or use caps—I'm sure GalaxyBlueMoon and Jolie can vouch for me. The moment I stopped doing that–well, I think you know.
My point is, you're spamming yourself and are being hypocritical of what you're "conducting." You are continuing to do this every after advice, but that's just stubborn in my eyes.
I'm not saying you HAVE to do that, because no one can "force" you to do something unless you're like God, but I highly suggest that you do what I advised. It will work out for the best, believe me. Feel free to /msg players, because that works better.

I hope I'm not mistaken, but minimodding as in answering questions isn't bad right?

"Minimodding" is when you attempt to do a moderators job, like saying "Caps!" Or "Spam!" Answering questions isn't a moderator's duty, so therefore answering questions is just being a good person, not minimodding.
