So lately there has been quite a few arguments and questions on why I "mini mod". So in this paragraph I will explain to you why I do this. It may be annoying but it is for the best of every player. I have been muted, and kicked several times for using too many caps, using foul language, or spamming. And I don't want others to have to get banned or punished for spamming etc. I often see that there is a lot of mods on. But they do nothing to the spammers and people who use excessive caps. .So that is when I step in and I warn the players. After I warn the players three times and a Mod still does nothing I will proceed to report the player. Here is what I believe the punishments should be. Spamming: 1 warning after that a kick after that a 5 minute mute and keep doubling the mute if the player continues to break the rule. Caps: 1 warning after that a kick after that a 5 minute mute and keep doubling the mute if the player continues to break the rule. Language: 1 warning after that a kick after that a 5 minute mute and keep doubling the mute if the player continues to break the rule. Thanks for reading this little thing that I thought I would clear up. ~Wade
Lolwhat. Just because you don't see chat the way a moderator does, doesn't mean we don't do anything.
But you don't have to spam chat with it dude... Private message the player, that way normal players don't have to see: Please don't use excessive caps Please don't spam Please don't trade illegally Constantly in chat, which practically doubles the carnage
I /seen the player and the player says it has been online for 30 minutes??? that means no punishment was given
By no means am I telling the mods what to do.. I am just stating why I mini mod.. and That is because the mods do not take care of the situation.
But suddenly that applies to every single player doing something wrong? Hey, we're human. You really can't expect perfection. We try our best.
Just to clarify, there is no mod that just sits-back. We can see chat and what goes on. We don't need to be reminded on how to manage our job wisely.
If y'all "sit back and watch chat" why do y'all not punish the offenders? I am a constant chat moderator and I always alerta a player when they need to not use caps etc
Because people stop after a while. Some people get the message, and those who don't are punished. I'm pretty sure you don't /seen every single player every 5 seconds. You don't see what we do see, therefore what you're saying is pretty invalid since you speak without knowing the other half of the story.
