Most other sub-forums have these archived sections, for posts/ reports that have been dealt with and are no-longer required. So, my suggestion is that the application area also has one of these, one for each server under their respective sub-forums.

This would be where all the locked/ old applications would go (Not those temporarily locked). Not only would this tidy up those sections, but it would also help to organise the forums and make it clear which application was the correct one to be viewing, if the person has made a new one for example. I suggest this, because the .NET application area has 94 pages - and counting. Some posts haven't been touched since 2013, and their respective owners haven't even been online since.

Bear in mind this is just a suggestion and not entirely necessary, but it would be nice for clean-up purposes.

 

I don't know. Maybe, many people temp-lock their applications, I feel it'd be a pain in the butt to dig it out, once someone wants to unlock it.

 

It's a fair point, the only reason I suggested it was that the .NET area has 94 pages, with some threads which haven't been touched since 2013.

 

Support for the ones that are really old and the makers of the thread haven't been on in like a year

 

I guess some that haven't been touched for a while, maybe they can be archived.
