Drogo was considering becoming a Skygod and the main reason was to get spawnmob as Drogo was hoping to add colored wool to his trade shop and to build with a bit more color. When you look at the kit contents on shop.skyblock.net, spawnmob is the only item with an exclamation mark on it, so even admin knows this is the main selling point for this rank!
To date Drogo has been too lazy to farm and shear sheep. Drogos island is always unlocked to allow access to the trade shops and people would surely come and kill them off, as so often happens.
Drogo has recently learned that the cool down on spawnmob makes it almost useless as breeding will now be a much faster way to gain wool.
Drogo is not too concerned about the title and the inital 32 diamonds and 7 spawners could soon be earned anyway. (in about 15 days given how well Drogos stone shop is going.)
Sure there are the extra 2 diamonds diamonds (10 less sand and 8 less iron) per day. But with spawnmob on a huge cooldown, Drogo feels it would be better to just buy a mob spawner kits for him self and an alt given that these are selling for 4-5 diamonds each. Drogo would get the same number of diamonds (yes spawner price could drop) and wouldn't lose the daily sand and iron. What's more Drogo saves $40 which could be spent on something else like the wool kit.
With spawnmob as it is, Drogo will have to opt out of becoming skygod so keep an eye out for my new tradeshop selling spawners!
Unless there is something Drogo is missing, please advise if there is.
Also if anyone can confirm how long the spawnmob cooldown actually is.

 

If you are only buying it for the wool, I suggest buying the colour wool kit.

Drogo assumes the price of wool may go up now given that Skygods can't spam spawnmob which will likely see more people breeding sheep which will add to the increasing lag of late!

 

I never knew there was a cooldown, ive always just spammed the command and got tons of mobs

 

True, Drogo has seen many sheep grinders. Its only the blue, light blue and purple that need to be farmed as the dyes are expensive.

Drogo believes the cooldown is new, fortunately Drogo found out before upgrading as it would have been very upsetting.

 

After reading what you plan on doing with the wool I think you should get the wool kit to go along with breeding. At least to start things going. After that you can get Skygod if you wish.

The wool kit was very helpful in creating the statues on "Gray Acres", my island.

 

Unless the cooldown is lowered, you should Drogo /kit wool.

 

No way to know if it will change, the command is almost useless now.

Thanks for that Broken, that's really kind. Drogo will just make a sheep death machine and farm wool that way and color it. As for blue sheep, Drogo will breed some on another island so they don't get killed off.

 

Well. Since you are drogo? Are you a thief. Because i have a sheep island. Where i farm different wool. There's a bout 100 sheep. So yeah :3 if you do need a farm. Ill let you borrow mine. But atm it's yellow. Cause i need yellow wool xD

Drogo feels extremely privileged. Sorry to hear your sheep have been killed.
Drogo has no shortage of yellow dye, so if you want to put down a spawner and spawn a heap you could dye them yellow.might be quicker that way. Although it will have to happen tomorrow as Drogo is off to bed now.
