Just a friendly reminder to update your Skype to the latest to make your IP hidden by default.

This will remove the number #1 vector for hacking and DoXing/DDoSing against players.

ive reported this like 5 times, why is it in discussions.

 

Because it's related to the server safety of it's players and therefore affects the server (since hacking type activities are often resorted to by disgruntled players against other players), it should be in the discussion as it's not off topic.

It's quite clear that you're not happy with the thread being highly visible for some unknown reason, but if you report something and the request is denied please do not keep reporting it (see the forum rules about going against mod actions/decisions).

It stays in the discussion section unless an admin moves it.

Best thing to do is stop arguing, because incomposed won't stop harassing you. However, in my opinion, the reports is not the correct section as you say and this is definitely the best section. The only other option would be the guide possibly.

People don't easily get hacked because they don't upgrade to Windows 10. People get easily hacked because Microsoft makes it easy to obtain someone's IP simply by using Skype.

Furthermore, evidence suggests that having an antivirus does little to protect you, whereas keeping your software up to date does.
