This thread is regarding a bug and has been raised in another thread in the 'report/bugs' section.
Drogo is mentioning it here just to make people aware of it because it is a bug that we can avoid if we know how to. TannerLittle is aware and Drogo assumes he is working on it but in the mean time, we can avoid it if we are informed.
The issue occurs when using trade shops to purchase items that you already have in your inventory. If you have full stacks in your inventory, then there is no problem. If you have incomplete stacks in your inventory then you may have a problem.
If the amount you are purchasing plus the amount in your incomplete stack adds up to more than one full stack then you will be short changed.
Trade shops selling one item at a time will not have this issue.
To play it safe, if you are buying stone for instance from Drogo's tradeshops ensure that you either have no stone or only full stacks prior to purchasing.
Drogo has had several people upset with him because they think Drogo is ripping them off.

Thanks a lot for this, I was aware that there was a problem though I had not heard of any specific details or how to replicate the problem. Thankfully there does not seem to be a way to duplicate or spawn in items using this exploit, it only loses items (assuming it takes a full stack of stone from the shop for example but only gives a fraction to the user). Because there is no threat to the economy the plugin will remain on the server until this is fixed which will happen much quicker with this new information, likely later today.

 

No items are being lost, the trade shop just doesn't issue enough

 

I already told (i forgot who) about this issue. She said she'll inform Cyp about that problem, but I didn't heard anything until now about it. Hopefully it will get fixed because it's an issue for wool shops too

This bug is still not fixed.
Drogo is refunding people if they tell me they have been affected in my shop but for those that don't message me, they either don't know or they are annoyed with Drogo and won't come back.
Drogo sells about 250 stacks of stone every day, mostly when offline so there is sure to be at least 5 people per day affected in Drogos stone shop alone.

This is still an issue. I sell wool at my shop, and it is very, very annoying when I have a fully stocked chest and a player only gets like 2 wool and there is like 53 wool missing and no grass. Do you have any news on the plugin, will it me fixed?
