Hello and welcome to a very simple but formative idea; especially for new players, as we all were at one point or another. Before we get into the purpose you clicking on this thread I would like to introduce myself to those of which don't yet know me.

I am Fell_In_Lava, you might have visited my island, seen reviews on other suggestions or moderator applications. I promise I'm not scary! Feel free to leave a comment and or elaboration on the idea!

So, now the introduction is out of the way; let's look at the idea.

I'm proposing that we open up a section in the forums that we dedicate to people trying to find someone to build an island with. However; we don't need to just leave it there, we can add subcategorys that could be the following:

- Building ideas?
- Hiring people to help on islands
- Selling islands
- Pictures of finished islands

These are just a few thoughts for categories, but no! It doesn't finish just yet! Not only will people be able to link up with each other to create islands, share pictures, hire help and get new ideas to improve their Islands. It will more importantly bring people onto the forums. This can never be a bad thing as there could be a few new faces and more constructive suggestions to improve both the server internally by making the forums popular, but also more attractive from an external stand point, in regards to people wanting to be part of an active online community!

I think the subforums should just be called something like, "islands." ;p

Suggestion(s):
I don't feel in the same way as your 'off topic' comment. Down to a couple of elements. The first being that it was specifically related to the .NET server which undermines and contradicts the 'off topic' section. But also it will not get the same publicity if it was sent into a subcategory; comparing this to having its own section.

 

Personal note(s):

- you mistake my meaning when I said 'it needs its own sections'. I don't mean a completely new forum just for this. I mean it will not justly thrive if it is put into a subcategory of 'discussion', or 'off topic'. In a hypothetical sense, I could see it being a very popular page. Enough so to be added to the list along side both areas named above.
